Great. I just had a go on Y. Imamura's new Bruner, made by C. Mateus. A very fine instrument. Mine was made by H. Hasenfuss - the body is base on Weigert, the extension is somewhere in between Jauch and Bruner, I would say. Works very well indeed. The best instrument I ever had.
It is a lovely piece and I am very grateful for it. It sat on my music stand a couple of weeks ago. I would love to record it at one point in time, but then there is so little time. I'm currently preparing a new Weiss programme which absorbs all my musical energies. But I trust that the time for Aria Bernardii will come...
